The AFCD reef check report 2018 has been released. Our site is not doing great! Ngau Shi Wu Wan in 2018 had coral coverage of 30.4% (compared to 42% of 2017).
Not much can be done, however in 2018 we have discovered a very healthy coral reef just 200 m away for our survey site. AFCD has been notified.
The 2019 Reef Check is scheduled for the 6th of July 2019 with a back-up date on the 31/08/19. Keep and eye on the SCDC calendar. Spaces are very limited.
On another note, here is another awesome photo of the pineapple fish spotted last week.
